Lime Green and with a BUG!

I'm trying out for a DT member for the Cricut 360 blog and thought I would share what I made :) I needed to use lime green and include a bug - lol... oh, and of course, use my cricut!

My goodness, it's been one heck of a week... well, last week, that is! Moday was rehersal for Caytlynn and Cassidy's bridging and that took place on Wednesday. Here are my 2 girlies :)

Thursday was Cullen and Cali's big show :) Here they are - SO cute!

And with Brayden, Cullen's best buddy!

Cassidy's rehersal was Friday and her recital was on Saturday :) She did such a great job and I'm so proud! She knew the dance well and smiled the entire time!!

The recital was followed by Cassidy and Cullen's b-day party celebration which was followed by a bon fire and a night to stay up late... the kids were thrilled to stay up late!!!

And it was with Uncle Chad!!!!

Sunday was a recovery day and then Monday we busted out the slide cause it was so hot! The kids had a BLAST!!!

It was a great week, but I'm glad things are back to normal :)

Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah!

Zip A Dee YEAH! I'm ecstatic about the weather being a bit warmer! I'm excited for summer to start and CHA and all that fun stuff!!!

I'll be doing my scrapbooking classes every Sunday this month with the exception of that last Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Here's a flower that I created in a tutorial I did on Saturday night in honor of National Scrapbook Day! I started out using one of the ugliest ribbons, can you even believe it?? lol! I don't even know where I acquired the ribbon from since it's been in my stash for years! I could not have made this without my 450 Quick Dry Adhesive, it's absolutely wonderful when using it on projects that need fast dry time! After it was almost all done, I sprayed it with Helmar's V2 Vellum adhesive, let it set for 5 minutes and sprinkled Clearsnap glittler on it - Voila!!! Catching up!

So, it's been one crazy ride since CHA! And that was already a month ago! So, let's back up to CHA... I had an absolute BLAST!!! I met so many awesome people! I did get sick, I believe it was food poisoning. It was my full first and even second day there. The upside to it was that I did not have to spend a small fortune on food - lol!!. So here's the first day, I spent some time at the Helmar Booth and there is Shelly and Tracy :)

This was after that first day, Michelle and I got the party started as we were freshening up in the bathroom for the Provo Craft Birthday Bash.

The Provo Craft Birthday Bash was awesome! They had the So You Think You Can Dance Dancers preform - OFF THE HOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we even got to meet them and take pics with them!

I have more pics, but I can't figure out how to get them from my BB to my hard drive - grrrr! It was a great couple days besides the sickies!

New to the store... Spring Delight Kit! I created these 2 candles with it last night along with my Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive!!

Family Friday post and V-Day Cards

My kids could not wait to open up all of their crafty goodness from Christmas and when they did, it was like a craft store threw up in my foyer.... and dining room... and kitchen! I am still sweeping up glitter from last weekend! Here's the disaster area:

This is Caytlynn's favorite! She strung glue to make it look like cobwebs and then sprinkled glitter on it. She is so creative and only 8! The detail that she put into this is just AMAZING!!!

Rollin Good Times!

Here's another LO designed from this Scrapbook Challenges Sketch :)

Again, I used products from the Romantica Kit from Scrap-Tastic.com! Actually everything besides the Helmar adhesives, ink and Glimmer Mist are in the kit! So, if you saw my last LO I did with this kit (2 posts down) you can see how versatile this kit is!!! I created this LO in an on-line class that you can view here on UStream.

Here you can see the dimension with using the Liquid Scrap Dots.

And my pretty flowers :) :) :) I love how they turned out!

Here is the super cute sketch that I was given to work with.... If I had more time I would have done another LO!! I love this sketch!

And here is the LO I created based on the sketch:

My hubby and I will celebrate our 9th anniversary in March. I could not have asked for anyone more perfect for me! Most of the products I used are from the Romantica Kit. The flowers were in past kits along with the Making Memories tiny alphas. I used Helmar Adhesives to put it all together! The papers are from My Mind's eye and I used Helmar's Quick Fix Adhesive runner to adhere all the paper. The color picture is popped up with Helmar's Zapdots. The butterfly is adhered with Helmar's Liquid Scrap Dots as well as the pearls in the center of the small flower. 450 Quick Dry came in handy when putting together my journaling spot on my flower. The flowers, butterfly and pearls are from Prima and the frame is from Tattered Angels.

Awesome Technique!

You all have to try this... it's my new favorite technique! You all should know by now that I love, love, love glitter, shimmer and pretty much anything shiny or sparkly!! AND, you know that I love to candy coat just about anything or at least a portion of what I am working on... well, here's how you can add just a touch of sparkle without over doing it! See the shadow of the sentiment? That is covered with glitter! Click on the image below to see a larger view... it looks awesome!!!

And here is how I did it... I took just the shadow portion of the sentiment and sprayed it with Helmar's V2 Vellum Adhesive... it's not JUST for Vellum ;) I let it set for 5 minutes and then applied the sentiment on top of it so the V2 adheres it to it's shadow. Now sprinkle it with glitter! I used Stampendous Fine Glitter, it's my fav!! I popped it up with Zapdots on a matt and adhered it to a card :) To see the instructions on the card, you can visit the Mixology Crafts Blog. Vintage Frost

I have been so busy doing this that and the other thing for other people that I have not had a chance to play with my Vintage Frost Kit *gasp* and it's been killing me too! Cassidy just adores Smokey and LOVES to dress her up! FYI that is a Build-a-Bear outfit - LOL! I think I posted a pic a while ago with the same cat dressed up. I'm not sure if it was the same outfit though. Smokey doesn't really mind as long as she is getting attention - haha

And the "Hey Mom, take a picture of this" turned into a full-on photo shoot, complete with over 100 pictures and I didn't even get that perfect one... this one was pretty darn good though:

Smooshie isn't smiling, but she doesn't look horribly awful either! I can't believe how hard it it to get 4 kids to smile at once and look decent! I absolutely love Cassidy's huge smile with her missing tooth!!

Mama 'Tude - Helmar Blog Hop

Welcome to the Helmar Holiday Blog Hop! You should have come from the very talented Sherry Mendoza's blog... if you just happen to visit me today and you want to participate in the blog hop, make sure you start from the beginning :) I did a class this morning creating a similar project showing you how easy it is to work with the wonderful Helmar Adhesives!!! You can see the UStream videos here: Part 1, Part 2 and part 3. Not sure why they were broken up into parts, but UStream did that! ???

I love making trees for the holidays! Do you see the tree on the right of my blog banner? Yes, scroll up ;) I made her a few years back, her name is Tude since she has such attitude. I love her so much and I have been wanting to make another.... So, I had to make a Mama Tude! Basically the same concept, but bigger :) For Tude, I used a template from thesmallobject.com. For Mama Tude, I used the same template but at 150%. And I only used the 3 largest cones, I did not add the 4th (smallest). Here are the FABULOUS Helmar Adhesives I used to create Mama Tude:

And here she is..... Introducing Mama Tude (drum roll please - lol)!!!

Isn't she cute?? She's got such great swagger!!! Instructions: Check out the bottom "cone"... I sprayed V2 Vellum Adhesive on it, let it sit for 5 minutes, covered it with glitter and adhered the tinsel with Helmar's 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to the bottom. Easy! The middle cone is super easy too, but a smidget more time consuming... I adhered the rhinestones and pearls using Helmar's Gemstone Glue! I adhered some to the polka dots and also adhered them around the bottom of the "cone". Easy (again!), but like I said a bit more time consuming. The top "cone" is the most simple.... All I did was adhere 2 different ball trims, one on the outside and one on the inside, with Helmar's 450 Quick Dry Glue! Once, again.... Easy!
Now for the most complicated part of Mama Tude... the flower topping. And it's really not complicated at all!!

The burgundy flower is a flower from Prima that comes with the glitter and feathers attached already, I didn't have to do anything to make it look so great except take it out of the packaging ;). I did want a "topping" that was slightly larger than the flower I chose and could not find another flower that was the perfect size, so I made one using 2 flowers that were the same size of the burgundy one.

As you can see from the back, pictured above, I cut apart the individual petals and glued them on with Helmar's 450 Quick Dry so just a small portion of the petals were showing... not too much. I also adhered the swirly doodle, beads and leaf with the 450 as well :)

Happy Friday!!

Happy Happy Happy Happy Friday!!! Not that I am really excited for weekends, they are usually as hectic as weekdays for me, but this week I have had project after project due... still in the works with 2 due today and Sunday, but I'm happy with what I have accomplished this week! Plus this weekend is more exciting than most... I am teaching Zumba tomorrow morning and then have a wedding in the afternoon. The bride wants all the little girls to walk down the isle as flower girls... how cute is that??? My girls are really excited! So excited that they are demanding new dresses - LOL! I don't think so ;) Then Sunday is the Helmar Holiday blog hop!!! I will be doing a class at 10AM CST for Helmar on UStream - YIPEE!! Come and watch! Besides my class, you need to check out the Q&A with Tracy at 3PM CST and Stayce DeWid will be doing another class at 5PM CST!!! Besides all of this... Helmar will be giving out prizes galore!!! I will be creating a December Daily Journal :) I made one last night for the Mixology Crafts Blog. Isn't Bambi cute? It won't be the same exact journal as this one though. Welcome to your first stop...

Welcome to your first stop for Urban Swank's Holiday Blog Hop! I have created part of my gift for my mom. I will have to make the second portion of the gift a bit closer to Christmas. I decorated a bottle that I am going to fill with Apple Pie. It's not a real Apple Pie... it's a type of drink. And I have the recipe for it at the end of the post if you are interested in making it :)

Here is the card and the decorated bottle along with the adhesive I used. You can see all the other products I used, but you can not phyically see the adhesives, so I included them in the photo ;)

I will start with my bottle since I really love how it turned out! I used Helmar's 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to glue the first layer to the bottle... 450 is perfect for things like that!! Then I used the Acid Free Glue to adhere the next 2 layers of paper. I applied Step one of the Crackle Medium over the entire bottle. While that was drying/setting (it needs to sit for 10-15 min) I played around with one of my Urban Lily Secret Keeper Windows. First, I cut the "windows" off because I wanted more of a frame.... perfect! Then, I Glimmer Misted it with Peacock Chalkboard and Riptide. I used the Acid Free Glue again sporadically on the window and added some glitter. The glitter was chunky and larger than what I wanted, so I went over the same areas with the acid free glue again and this time I added beadazzles. You can still see the glitter and I really like it, it's just not so "in your face" ;) And then I adhered the happiness definition to the back of the window.

By now, Step 2 is ready to be applied, so I applied it all over the bottle. I used a heat gun to speed up the process of the dry time since I am impatient - lol! I tied tulle around the neck and adhered the window to the bottle and it was done!

Check out the crackle in full force.... it looks SO awesome on the glass:

Onto the card!

I used 4 different Urban Lily papers for the matts and distressed the heck out of their edges! Then I took a Secret Keeper Window and Glimmer Misted the heck out of it... Red Velvet, Cherry Limeaide, Peppermint Stick and Snow Angel! I fussy cut the sentiment and the flowers... used Helmar's Liquid Scrap Dots and Zapdots on the flowers, added a bit of ribbon and called it a day ;)

Apple Pie

Combine:
1 gallon apple cider
1 gallon apple juice
3 cups sugar
6 cinnamon sticks

mix and heat until the sugar is dissolved and just before it boils. Let it cool completely. Add 1 bottle (1 liter) Everclear. Pour into bottles. Serve chilled.

All new and exciting things....

I am in such a whirlwind of stuff going on here! First off, I made the short list for Theresa Collins Design Team call, but did not make the final cut. That's okay though, it was awesome to know that I was a finalist!! Plus, after I saw the list of talent, I pretty much knew I wouldn't make it ;) I am absolutely floored that Aida did not make it though... SHE is my scrappy hero!

Today is my first day of being a part of the Mixology Crafts Team! I will be posting today :) Here is my project:

Back to the Butterfly Barrette... you will have to check out the Mixology Crafts Blog for instructions ;) I used Helmar's Gemstone Glue and 450 Quick Dry Adhesive for the rhinestones and to put the flower together.

I did another class last night :) You can view it here. And at the end of class, I showed December's Kit, Vintage Frost - it's BEAUTIFUL!!! It won't be available for a few more days, but you can see a preview in last night's class :) I will NOT be doing another class next Wednesday, but I WILL be doing a class on Saturday the 27th in place of Wednesday's class. If I could only run like I am about to type this bad boy up! I would be in serious shape! Although, I did run for 3 miles the other day *gasp*!!! I really despise running and would rather Zumba for 20 hours rather than run for 2 ;)

I'm super excited to share my first Family Friday Project but first.... My OTHER EXCITING news!!! WHOOT!!! I was chosen to be an educator for Helmar!!!! It's not going to be much of a transition since I was on the DT and already doing UStream videos always highlighting Helmar Adhesives - lol!!! Yet, it is still thrilling for moi to have such a title :)

I had a project picked up for publication too!!! What a week it's been!

K, here it is!!! My Family Friday Project! My kids were so excited about this! I did most of the embellishing, but they painted ALL the ghosts.... even my little Squooshy! She did such a great job!

Unfortunately, Cullen was gone, but I had to get this started pronto! He did help out along the way though :)

Here is my banner.... unfortunately (AGAIN!!!), my hubby's schedule did not allow for time to get him to get the nails in the wall for me to hang this yet. But my girls were more than happy to help out ;) They were over at the neighbors and did a little face painting, can you tell??

And here are all the the ghosts AND Caytlynn's Goth Girl (she HAD to! It's hanging from the Y ghost):

I used Helmar's 450 Quick Dry because I want my glue to dry fast! There's nothing worse that gluing something down and then having to wait for it to dry in order to continue working on it!! I used Helmar's Zapdots to pop the letters up. Did you notice the bling bling on the orange part of the letters????? yes, last, but certainly NOT least... I used Helmar's V2 Vellum Adhesive to adhere the letter's together and add that bit of sparkle on the shadow. You can check it out here at the Helmar blog. Tonight was our first sleepover! Our neighbor, Alayna, slept over. I made no-bake cookies.... tastes pretty similar to cooke dough, but w/o the eggs, so no one will get sick.... that is unless you eat TOO MUCH! So, like I mentioned...NO-BAKE cookies.... you with me? k... Alayna said "those were so good! I love your cooking!" LOL!!! Regardless, I took the compliment and Corey says "you probably won't ever hear that again". I'll show him tomorrow when he doesn't get to eat my DE-LISH enchiladas!! tee hee hee :)

Exciting News...

First off... I tried out for a Family Friday Design Team (binkie is on side bar) because I thought it would be FUN, FUN, FUN!!! And I made it!!! My first project will be up here, on my blog this Friday!! WHOOT!! A special thank you to Jenny for choosing me :) :) :) Not only am I excited, but my kids are too!! I told them that I made the Design Team, but they will be helping me with my projects, so "WE" all made the design team ;) Yep, they are happier than pigs in mud!

FYI! In case you did not know... Build-a Bear clothes fit the average size cat - LOLOLOL!!! I did NOT know this information until Sunday until Smokey was weaing a dress.

More exciting news coming, but I can't share just yet! And no, I am not preggers!!! Stay tuned!!

You can check out the techniques I used on my clock (below) here at UStream. It is called Techniques Class and there are 3 parts because UStream kept on freezing on me :( I will be finishing up the project tonight here on UStream.... fingers crossed that I will not freeze! Plus I will be making a spooky layout :)

Welcome to the Helmar Halloween Howler Hop!!!

MUAHAHAHAHH! Muahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! BOO! I hope I didn't scare you too much! K, Ok, ok, even though I did a fall themed project doesn't mean that I can't get into the Halloween spirit!! This might scare you too... but I assure you that all these adhesives are harmless... I used ALL of these to create my project. I used a combination of Helmar's Craft Glue, 450 Quick Dry, Crackle Step 1 and 2, Liquid Scrap Dots and Craft and Hobby PVA Glue to put this entire project together. There are SO many things that I did with this clock that I can't even begin to share them all with you right now! I am going to tell you what I did using the Helmar Adhesives here, but you will have to tune into UStream here tonight at 8:30PM CST to see all the other really cool techniques I used while creating this clock.... there are A LOT! Make sure you are a follower of my blog and tune in tonight... I will be giving away Helmar Zapdots along with some bling bling! You can let me know you will be there here!

I love Halloween and everything about Halloween even creating Halloween projects, BUT... I really wanted and needed to make this fall project! My hubby re-did our bathroom 11 months ago and I STILL do not have anything hanging in it! So, I bought this clock at a rummage last summer for only 2 bucks and decided it needed to be in that bathroom! I had the perfect place for it... just not the perfect look as of yet ;)

And here is my finished project:

From start to finish...Ok, you saw the "raw" clock. I sanded it down... more and less in certain areas than others because I wanted the distressed look. Then I started to distress it a bit more with some StazOn... then, I water mark stamped it so I could gold heat emboss and heat set certain areas which you can see plus a few flowers and the title.

I wanted the title on before I put the crackle on so the title would be "sealed". Look at the picture above and that is the picture that I took before I put the crackle on..... I put a generous amount of step 1 all over, even on the title but not on the flowers. I waited 20 minutes just to be sure it was dry. Then I generously applied the Step 2. THEN... I waited 20ish minutes and put the second step on AGAIN, but only in a few select places to give it a distressed look. It has a very fine, almost bubbly effect... it looks so awesome! Make sure you click on the picture (below) to see a close up. The 2nd coat of step 2 was used on the bottom left and on the bottom left of the butterfly:

I used the Craft and Hobby PVA glue, I used it to "seal" my paper flowers! I made a mix of the Craft and Hobby PVA glue, water, acrylic paint and Glimmer Mist. I "dipped" the larger flowers in it twice making sure they dry completely before I do the second dip. It colored and sealed my flowers so I don't have to worry about them wilting ;) Check out my UStream class tonight to see all the awesome tehniques I used!

We had a few playdates this weekend... it started out with Braeden on Friday.... These boys played logos for an hour!!

Saturday Gina and I team taught Zumba at Preferred Fitness. We had a blast! The kids love going there since it doesn't happen often ;)

Then today Elaina came over for a bit... just snapped this one before she had to go.

The Clock

I can let you in on a little secret.... here's the clock I will be using in Helmar's Haloween Howler Hop! Isn't it fabulous? I have had this clock for over a year. I think I paid 2 bucks for it at a rummage last summer. I even brought it to a few crops, but nothing ever came to mind. I now have a fabulous idea! I just hope it works out as well on the clock as it is in my head - LOL!!!

Oh, yeah, did you take a close look at my girl's bangs??? No, I did not cut them. Grandma did because she had to... Caytlynn was creating a crown on her forehead with her GUM!!!!! Did you hear that? with her GUM! Oh boy!

Last weekend I had Cali Bear aka Smooshie all to myself! It was so refreshing to spend quality one on one time with her :)

Today I was watching our neighbor girl for a few hours... she's my oldest daughter's age so it's more of a paydate! THey played with play-doh for 2 HOURS!!!

I'm always ecstatic when I get that perfect shot and I snapped one of Cass today :) :) :) I think the B&W is my least fav, but I can't decided if I like the true color or vintage better... guess it depends on what colors I will be working with... maybe I will scrap her using the Blushing Sunset Kit???? hmmmm.... this might be next Wednesday's class ;)

I let my older girls pick out a girl from the Rock Princess Cartridge to create and we created them! They really do think the Cricut is the bomb diggity, as it is!

I'm back

I made it back safe and sound from Utah despite the fact I flew on 9-11! It was a great trip, I had a blast and met some amazing ladies in my class and at the expo! I could kick myself for not taking a ONE picture though! I carried my camera all the way down there and all the way back and not one pic... what's wrong with me???

So, other than that... we are getting ready for a party this weekend. Out last one was 4 years ago! Let's see... No kids + lots of friends + booze = lots of crazy pics ;) My hubby is so awesome, he pressure washed the deck and stained it... bought a mosquito magnet and a NEW GRILL!!! I can't wait to cook on that bad boy!

2 weeks and 2 days until school starts - YIPEE!! While summer has been great and I thoroughly have enjoyed spending time with them... THEY GOTTA GO! haha. Well, only 2 are going to be full time, but that will help ;) I'll be saying the opposite in 2 months from now!

Hello blog, Hello people!!!

Last week was my first on-line class and I think it went pretty well :) You can see it here. I am going to be having another class tomorrow, Sunday, July 19th, 2010 and you can read all the info about it here! What a week!

Wow, what a week... I really should blog more often - lol!

Here's a little sneakie peek at what I created for Cassidy's dance teacher using papers from Scrap-Tastic's June Kit!

And here is the BIG cut! As mentioned in my last post, I was taking Caytlynn to get her hair cut and she donated her beautiful hair to Locks of Love :)

After the BIG cut, I turned to look at her and she had short hair for the first time since she was an infant. My jaw dropped to the floor and I put my hand over my mouth as I gasped loudly! Tear came to my eyes and I told myself I would not cry - OOPS! just couldn't help it! She looks great though, so grown up! FYI - if you live in the southern part of WI, we had this done at Steven Edwards Color Group salon in New Berlin. They cut her hair for free and even sent it in for us! Most places don't cut for free, but this is the only place that I have heard of that actually sends it in for you!

Friday night I attended a Zumba Jam at Preferred Fitness - SO MUCH FUN!!!! Can you tell I was having a great time??? lol

Sunday was Cassidy's Dance Recital :) Take a good look at that gap between Caytlynn's front teeth... it's bigger than the space where another tooth needs to come in - can you say braces? eeek!

I realized after the fact that I didn't get any pictures of the boys... Cullen and Corey, but they were there along with my MIL and BIL Chad :)

Ok, Now onto my day, today... Cleaned this morning. Also watched LOST while doing laundry.

Corey and I repaired some of his jeans with some Helmar Adhesives... he helped! He is an over adherer - LOL! pics to come, for sure.

My neighbor is moving so we scheduled today to get together and do cappuccinos... she was running late, then my steamer was clogged and wasn't working at first. fixed that, so I feel as though we didn't really get to talk between the espresso maker giving me problems and Cali waking up and kids wanting snacks and such. I had a hair apt, so I kinda had to kick her out. Got my hair done, it has blond highlights again - YEA!!! Corey asked when I was going back to blond and I told him when he pays - lol! So he did - double yea!!!

I picked up a few things from the grocery store for Cassidy's B-day treat for school tomorrow. Gosh, I can't believe she will be 6! Picked up Qudoba for Corey and me. Got home with 5 minutes to eat as much as I could of my yummy burrito before taking Cullen to his pee-school for Mother's Day tea party. They were so cute! I am so proud of Cullen. He has never been much of a singer, but the words that he did know, he belted them out! And inbetween each song I would hold up my hands so he could see and clap for him. And inbetween EVERY song he would say "mom" with a big smile on his face and wave to me. He even turned to his buddy Braden a few times and gave him a big hug too - SO CUTE!

Today's the day!

I have been putting this off for long enough! Caytlynn has wanted to donate her hair to locks of love for some time now. I am the one that is having a hard time parting with her beautiful long hair! I told her that we would get it cut after her first communion and, well, that was last weekend. I took a lot for me to make the phone call, but I did it! Now to have the strength to take her in - lol! I will have pictures soon :)

Yesterday was quite the day! Caytlynn received her first holy communion :) Doesn't she look like an angel?

Then we had all the relatives over for a party celebrating Caytlynn's 1st communion AND Cullen and Cassidy's birthday! It was beautiful out despite a little wind.

And after all the presents were opened, food and cake was eaten and a tiny nap, I headed over to Dana's house warming party! Thinking I was only going to stay for a drink or two, how foolish of me. This picture was taken at 2am - lol!

What a fun, but exhausting day! And I have so many things in the works.... lots of practical AND fun stuff :)

Weathered & Still Holding Strong!

No, not me ;) Although that's the way I feel most days - lol! Last summer I noticed that my bird house had a few pieces of glass that fell off, so I adhered them on with Helmar's 450. Forgot about it until yesterday when I noticed there were more pieces missing.... different ones, not the ones I fixed last year. Unfortunately, 2 pieces are no where to be found.... And here is what I created with some of the items from the Hello Spring kit:

Do you see the blue background? That is adhered to the back side of the Build-A-Book acrylic page! And can you guess what I used to adhere it??? Helmar's V2 Vellum Adhesive! I sprayed the V2 on the blue paper, let it sit for 5 minutes and then placed the Build-A-Book acrylic page to it. It does NOT make the paper look cloudy or even show the adhesive at all! The rest of the elements were placed on top side of the acrylic. I like doing this to add depth to my projects :) That, along with Helmar's Zapdots, really makes this project dimensional. I used the Zapdots on the cloud and the owl. The Alphas are Add-Ons for the Hello Spring Kit. When you purchase the kit you will receive 30% off the alphas!

And for those of you that don't like double-sided paper.... the blue (background) is the back side of the green (grass) that I used!!!! Check out the paper here :)

They both came up with their own ideas and did their own thing! Here they are with their fun floats, certificates and 1st place ribbons :)

Welcome Sign

Welcome Blog Hoppers!!!!!!

I choose to do a Welcome sign created with Urban Swank products along with lots of different Helmar products.

I am featuring the Textured Effects today, just one of my Helmar favorites! There's so many cool things that you can do with this. Pretty much anything you want to make shiny or add dimension to you can slap this one - lol!

For this project I choose to make "epoxy type" butterflies.

I started with cutting out butterflies and then Glimmer Misting them. After they dry, I used Helmar's repositional runner to stick it down so it would not move. Then I applied the Textured Effects and created some lines in them to add some more dimension, see below :)

As you can see below it dries clear with a glossy coating and you can see the ripples I made with the lines, cool, hey?

I also used lots of Helmar's Zap Dots :)

And, of course, I used the 450 Quick Dry to adhere the lace to the bottom :) I used just a small line of it on the bottom and that lace is not going anywhere!!!

I used Embossing powder here to get this awesome look!

Vanilla Frosting, A Gotta-Have!

I would like to run away for a weekend and play more with this kit! I love it! Here's what I have done so far...

My 2 little girls when they actually were little! THey are now 5 and 7! Everything on this LO was in the kit with the exception of the BG (blue) paper that is a perk paper. If you're a kit member you will get 45% off all the BG holiday papers!

Same kit used here! You can see this kit is very versatile! The buttons are from the Vanilla Frosting Button Add-On kit. These buttons are awesome!!!! This is my little guy, pics taken almost a year ago.

Mom Of The Year!

That's me, mom of the year.... I sent my 2 oldest off to school this morning. The school called 5 minutes before school started. This can not be good, I panicked! For sure one of them is sick and I had to teach Sculpt in an hour - no time to find a sub - oh no!!!! A million things were going through my head. Here's is what I heard on the other line "Hi there, we have Cassidy here in the office, there's no kindergarten class today" EEEK!!!!! Thank God no one was sick! So, I looked and sure enough "No kindergarten" was marked on the calendar for today! I really should read that first thing in the morning. Cass didn't mind though, she got to do puzzles. I had to ask to see if I was the only one and yep! The only one! They did say that they expected more - lol! I wonder if they have bets going on how many parents forget??? So, I award me for mom of the year today.... wait, is there something the opposite of that?

Just a typical Tuesday!

I was woken 20 minutes TOO early by Cassidy yelling for me for who knows what - grrr. Today was off to a great start ;)

Did Zumba in the AM and even walked on the treadmil for a few minutes, went to the consignment shop to drop off clothes, P.O. to drop off packages, FedEx dropoff - more packages, and back to the consignment shop, left with one cranky boy that cried for 45 minutes! Yes, 45 minutes! I was looking at halloween outfits for him when I saw him throw his sister to the ground. She was trying to sit on a chair and he didn't think that she was suppose to. So, I said, very nicely "Cullen, you need to let mommy handle baby"and he punched me twice. I told him that the coustume would not be bought today and he threw a fit! Meanwhile I was getting skipped by a lady that was complaining she was there too long and had to leave - really??? I was there before her and I have a screaming child and she skips me! Come on! I could have totally lost it since I was skipped by another lady before that. I kept it together even though it was a disaster. Then this lady was complaining because she had to come back since the owner doesn't put the items into the system immediately! really, COME ON! On with my day... onto Caytlynn's school for lunch (parent lunch week), drop Cullen at peeschool(that's what he calls it) and home for Cali to nap. I worked and took a cat nap - yea!!! pick Cullen up from peeschool, prepare dinner as much as possible so I can come home later to actually make it. Caytlynn and Cass get home, drive Caytlynn to 1st communion class, workout(again), pick Caytlynn up, make dinner, watch a bit of Die Hard and send the kiddos to bed - whew, what a day - lol!

Onto scrappy goodness :) :) :) The newest kit is in the store - Not Too Halloweenie - hehe.

For those of you that didn't know, I became a Zumba Certified Teacher back in May :) There is a Zumbathon out in Madison this weekend - August 1st from 12-3. I will be one of the instructors at this event - how exciting!!!! What more can a girl want on her birthday?!?!? 3 full hours of Zumba!!! This is also a fundraiser for Gilda's house, so I am hoping that a TON of money will be raised :) Contact me if you are interested!

Summer is here!

Yep, summer is here! Caytlynn is out of school and I am so excited to spend more time with her! At the same time I just don't know what to do about her and Cassidy fighting ALL the time! I have only gotten through one weekend (barely). And I feel more like a referee than a mom. I just can't stand the constant "I have to be better than you" attitude from the 2 of them. Both are type A personality. We will get by, I know that, but at what cost? Now that I am typing this it rings a bell. I do believe that I posted a similar entry at the exact same time last year - lol.

One exciting thing has happened since I last blogged... so sad, just one - lol! Anyways, I will FINALLY be published in Memory Makers!!! Too bad it will be their last issue. Still exciting none the less.

Here are a few LOs I created with the Playtime Fun Kit at my last crop. This first one is very special to me since this picture is of the last Thanksgiving my mom and dad shared together. He passed away a few weeks later. They really were soul mates. I did use a few items from past kits on this one. You can check out the LO here with all the products listed.

I have been so busy that my head is spinning! Caytlynn and Cassidy's dance recital is this weekend. And there's only 13 days left of school! Yea!!! I can't wait for summer to be here and no more running around for dance, swim, preschool and other misc stuff!!! Just to the gym and back :) oh, and a few playdates too! Last Saturday was jam packed with fun! I'll write more and post pictures soon. It was SO much fun that I was sleeping by 8PM!!! Yes! 8pm - I was exhausted!!!! And I can't remember the last time I went to bed so early - lol!

Easter Pics, Sneak Peek and New LO!

Here is one of my latest that I created at my last crop using The Velvet Room Kit. For the top part of the background I used the lace cardstock as a mask and sprayed Helmar's V2 spray adhesive over it. I let it sit for 5 minutes, sprinkled with glitter and gently swiped Black Soot Distress Ink over it.

And a couple fun pics of Easter!!!! Cullen scored some Marvel Comic Flippers (flip flops). "What?" That is his word. He says it all the time and it's so cute how he enunciates it too, making sure that 't' is on the end. He says it over and over! Even more so when he doesn't understand a word you are using or an explaination you have. He's so cute!

Cali got some hippo crocs! The Easter bunny is hoping that the chunkiness of the hippos will slow her down a bit. She is a fast runner!

Cass has fun coloring Easter eggs! Cass will be 5 in less than a month. Where the heck did the time go? She was the master of the egg coloring.And Caytlynn had fun being a model to show off the fabulous eggs they colored! Caytlynn lost her second tooth two weeks ago :)

New Basic Grey's Lime Rickey will be in on Tuesday and is already in the store! This is my fav line from this past CHA. I am also getting in MORE goodies from Prima - yummy!

I am hosting another crop on May 9th from 10am - 10pm and anyone that lives in Southern WI or Northern IL is invited! Let me know if you are interested. We have such a good time, you don't want to miss it!

Memory Makers is going to publish a LO of mine :) Seriously, how has it taken 7 years for them to realize what they were missing - LOL!!!! I am pretty excited! My LO will be in the Sept/Oct issue. Seems like it is so far away, but summer will come and go so fast like it always does. So it will be here before I know it!

The Velvet Room Kit

Also, starting this month- Specials for Kit Members (SKM). Every month there will be different items on discount for the people that have a yearly Kit Membership. This month you will receive a 30% discount on the Prima trays and all KI Memories Lace Cardstock! Woot woot!

Instructions for the tray:
First, I painted the Prima tray with Kaiser Paint and sprayed the heck out of it with Riptide Glimmer Mist - I LOVE this color!!!! Then I applied the paper using the Acid Free Glue by Helmar. I applied the Acid Free Glue directly onto the tray and spread it out using a foam brush. I made sure I didn't spread the glue to close to the edges so I could roll/distress the edges. Make sure you wash out your brush when you are done applying the paper ;) The Acid Free Glue does not dry immediately which gave me play time to make sure that my paper was centered... well, centered enough. I did have to pull the paper up a few times to readjust and it's still not perfect, but close enough. I continued to work on it even though the glue didn't dry completely.

So while the glue was drying I placed the alphabet add-on to the kit on, spelling "Becky's", to use as a mask. I sprayed Cherry Limeade Glimmer Mist over the letters and then took the letters off. By now the glue is set enough for me to distress the papers with Ink and paint and roll the edges.

Now, to embellish - Love this part! I added the alphabet first and even though they are adhesive backed I ALWAYS glue my alphas down with Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.

All the flowers are adhered with Liquid Scrap Dots to make them pop right off the tray. TIP: when working on something like this tray I would suggest that you stand it up so your work surface is horizontally flat. Before adhering the flowers I glittered 2 of them using the Helmar V2 Vellum Adhesive - I sprayed the V2 on the flowers, let them sit for 5 minutes and then sprinkled on Stampendous glitter. Easy peasy! I also sprayed a few flowers with Pearl and Riptide Glimmer Mist - gosh, not like I didn't have enough sparkle already - lol

The Butterfly was also adhered using Helmar's Liquid Scrap Dots. And the really cool thing about using the scrap dots is that I could tilt the butterfly.... now try pulling that one off using pop dots ;) haha, yep, take THAT pop dots!!!!!

It was beautiful outside today and I only had one kid! It was very refreshing to spend quality time with just one. I took Cali Bear outside for a bit to play and she had so much fun! It took her a few minutes to get used to walking on grass which was fun to watch ;)
This is her "Cali give me a smile" pose - she tilts her head, smiles and closes her eyes :)
She got dirty. She even tried to eat grass that she spit out, that's what is on her face - lolbecbeck out.

There are a few things that I will be doing differently in 2009. These are not resolutions, just small goals that I need to strive for throughout the new year ;) The first is to make more time for ME! I need to scrap more. Not just because I want to, but I need to.

Little by little I will become more organized too. I will start with a major move in my scrap room. It will be very interesting to say the least - lol.

And like most people I want to lose weight. This is an ongoing thing for me and has been ever since Caytlynn was born... not counting during each pregnancy since, rather in between. Just 5 pounds. Hopefully more will come (off), but just 5 to begin with!

Anyone doing resolutions?

I'm not hoping for miracles, so I can do this! At least that is what I have to keep telling myself ;)

That is what Cullen kept on saying while pointing to the driveway. Why? Because there was a cop out there. He came to the door and asked where he could find the Mallan's. hmmm... sounds familar, but I couldn't place it. So I told him that maybe it was the people 2 houses down (I couldn't think of their last name at that moment) and he left. And then I remembered that 2 houses down is the Pallen's! oops! The cop returned and I told him that the people across the street just moved in and I was about to tell him that I have no clue who lives to the right of us when he mentioned that he thinks that there was a 911 call placed from THIS address! $@!&!!! k, let's back up to when I arrived home from the gym about 20 minutes prior. Cullen was playing with my cell phone and when I took it from him it said "Emergency" was dialed but there was no signal. So I ended the call thinking nothing else of it. And completely forgetting that it ever happened. My cell phone has horrible reception at my house, so why would it work for Cullen right? Also, the few times I did cal 911 from my cell no one ever picked up, it just rang and rang and rang... good thing those few times it wasn't a life or death situation!!! So, why in the word, knowing this would I ever think that Cullen called for help! Well, he did and I apoligized a few times and explained what happened. My family is surprised that this is the first time it's happened, but really, I'm sure it doesn't happen to everyone! I won't be leaving my cell around any more! Here's a LO of my little guy... this was published a while back and haven't gotten to post it yet til now :)

BTW, The Mallan's were the origional owners of our house and there was even an owner in between us. The cop said that he ran all of our liscence plates and none of them came up with this address. Dena's car was out there so her's wouldn't have this address, but I"m not sure why the other 2 didn't. It's all a little bazzar and there are still questions unanswered. I think I will just leave it that way!

My New Love

Goodbye pop dots and HELLO Scrap Dots! I have a chance to play with some of my goodies from Helmar and I am in LOVE with the Scrap Dots!!! You can see that I used them here on my butterflies. This is for my Beauty Workshop (see post below for deets!):

Let me tell you why this IS da bomb.... I love dimension! And I use the foam pop dots often and I double up the pop dots even more often since they squish. I can't stand that they squish! Scrap Dots does not squish!!!! I let this set overnight and I can push down and they still have dimension! Isn't that what pop dots are suppose to do??? Anyways, you can always add another dab if you need more dimension and build it up. but for my LO here, it has served it's purpose and it has served it well :) PS I snapped the pic when the glue was still wet, but it dries clear where as the pop dots aren't really clear...

Corey is still remodeling the bathroom. ARGH! He has been working so hard and so far it looks great! I can't wait til it's done.

New & Exciting!!!

I have to calm down so I can type this out.... I AM ON THE HELHAR ADHESIVES NEW DT!!!!! whew, I feel better :) k, 10 girls were picked and I am one of them. I have been doing cartwheels for hours now ;) Check out the list of all the girls at the Helmar Blog.... gosh, I almost feel as though I shouldn't belong on this list! I guess I have some very big shoes to fill - hehe

Now look at what else I went and did! I am teaching a workshop at http://www.scrap-tastic.com/ and I put together this video for all of you. The primary focus of this workshop is learing how to use Prima's IOD Build-A-Frame Stamps. They rock! Plain and simple, they rock! Did I mention that they rock? I use them all the time. So in the process of learning how to use the stamps, you will also create a beautiful layout! AND I already have an add-on workshop, My Boy. You will use the same stamps and learn simple, but a little bit more advanced stamping techniques.

I have so much exciting news that I almost forgot about the Peppermint Swirl Kit - YUMMY!!! Robyn Weatherspoon designed this kit and it has been so much fun to play with!

And a follow up on my last entry... no more bottles and no more baby car seat - yea!!! Cullen is doing so well with sleeping in his big boy bed... MUCH better than his 2 older sisters!!

Thanksgiving was nice, but Corey was sick and slept through the entire thing. Caytlynn had streep and 2 ear infections. Thanks to my MIL she was on her meds a day before and could somewhat enjoy Thanksgiving :)

Corey is in the midst of remodeling our bathroom on the main floor and it has been such a pain in the rear. The kids want to see everything that is going on and wants to play with Corey's helpers! Jay is doing the plumbing work. He even did lunch with us. Later in the day Cassidy asked if we could invite him over for a playdate - how cute! Anyways, I can't wait until it's done, I know it'll look stellar!!! Seeing as he put in new insulation I hope the shower won't freeze up this winter - lol!!!

Not-such-a-baby and ramblings

Cali, my youngest, just turned one last Sunday. I was so happy as I was thinking... no more bottles, no more formula, no more car seat, more independance, more interaction, more walking, more babbling and more fun! Well, the no bottle thing didn't work out already - grrr and I haven't had a chance to change out the car seat yet. At the same time I am sad bacuase we will not be having any more babies, we are DUN! With 4 babies being more than enough, I am still sad to know that there will be no more. What is worng with me! It's a good thing that I didn't start having babies earlier in life, I probably would have had 10 by now. Here is my gorgeous baby girl, uh I mean not-such-a-baby girl ;)

My Mom was over yesterday and she snapped this up for me. We don't have any family shots with Cali in them. Actually, it's been a year and a half since the last family shot!

I have been sick for a few weeks now and last Friday my cold took a turn for the worse -grrrr.

Cullen was the first of all my kids to swallow a penny - yikes! Corey took apart the crib yesterday and he is now sleeping in a big boy bed. So far so good :) :) :) What prompted this is the other night, oh, it was the night that he swallowed the penny, he climbed out of his crib and we think he was climbing on his dresser and fell off, smashing his nose into a doll house. back up. Cullen took the doll house out of his closet that morning and I just didn't think to put it away. I certainly didn't think that he would be dresser diving/doll house smashing later that night!

I will teaching my first on-line workshop at my site - Scrap-Tastic starting at the end of the month. I am SO excited!!! The other day I was on my way to get my hair highlighted, oh my, it's only been 6 months!!! My hair was ugly! So, here I am driving to get my hair done and what comes on the radio???? Poison - Talk Dirty To Me! It took me back, way back. And what did I do???? I blasted the radio like I was a teen again, totally jammed out in my seat and shouted the words and YES! I do remember ALL the words, just like it was yesterday! It seems like lately I have been reminded of those younger years through conversations, going through bins (from our move 3 years ago!) and.... I even stumbled upon my old portfolio for modeling. I never made it big, just made a few bucks doing some fun photo shoots. I shared it with my kids and Caytlynn couldn't stop telling me that I was so pretty then - HAHA! So I will leave you with this - here's me about half my life ago ;) no wrinkles, no gray hairs and very little cellulite... ahhhh to be young again!

On a sad note...

I had to put my cat, Sofi, to sleep two weeks ago. I had her for 12 years and she was 15 years old. Sofi had a really bad limp and had lost a lot of weight in the past couple weeks. THe vet said that there was probably multiple issues with her and confirmed that it was her time to go. We could have done testing and given her medicine to prolong her life a little and it just seemed that she would just suffer more for my and my kid's selfishness. After she was put to sleep I let the girls say bye to Sofi one last time. Caytlynn and Cassidy were uncontrolablly sobbing as I also was. When I walked out of the room everyone in the waiting area had tears in their eyes and one sweet lady even gave me a hug. We all miss her terribly!

Party Time!

Caytlynn had a few friends over for her B-Day party today and everyone had so much fun! I created a little picture holder last night and tried REALLY REALLY hard to keep it as easy and simple as possible since one is 4, 4 are 6 and one is 8. and this is what I came up with

I took a picture of each of the girls with Caytlynn as they arrived and then planned on quickly printing them off as the girls were playing. Well, my computer was so slow that it took forever! I wasn't able to print out Caytlynn's or Cassidy's pictures because of that - bummer! I really wanted to take a group shot of them all with their finished project. I did get this cute shot of them all though :) and will send it them with a big ol' THANK YOU! Since we did have only a few girls, I was able to take a pic with each girl and their present to Caytlylnn with Caytlynn so she will never forget who gave her what!

After everyone left I was able to spend time with the girls and help them finish their project. Cassidy is so funny, she put glue on the wrong side of the paper and glued the pattern side down. she also decorated both sides of the project, not thinking ahead that the picture will cover one side - lol. It still turned out fabulous! I would not expect any less than stellar from both of them in the crafting dept - hehe.

I am exhausted and need to sleep. We have a big day, er, or should I say morning.... we are going to visit Great Gammer tomorrow followed with a trip to Build-A-Bear! Followed up with a TON of laundry! Is there such thing as a laundry folder? I would love to hire someone.... Anyone interested???? PWEASE?

Circ-a-ler

ok, another word from CHA! Long story that really cannot be made short, so I won't go there. You really had to be there anyways.

I have been so busy lately my head is just spinning! New product is coming in almost every day and I just can't keep up... in a few weeks I will be receiving, literally, tons of product! And I do mean tons! I believe last realease there was about 3 tons of product. So, that will be fun to move down into my basement ;)

funny story... I was talking to my Grandma yesterday when I smelled something funky. I looked down at my baby girl to see her poop coming OUT OF HER DIAPER! WTH! I saw it! Her diaper was overflowing! It's not bad enough that she poops EVERY morning between 6 and 7 and the poop is overflows and all over the place... NO! She has to do it during the day too! good times.

I almost forgot to brag a bit :) :) :) I was asked to be on a Design team for Creative Charms. They have really cute embellies and I can't wait to start! I did order a few items for my store that I already have, you can check them out here.

Check out my cuties playing so nicely together.... it didn't last for long - lol

I am off to spend a few hours with my friend Lisa and her twins at Stone Fire Pizza. I haven't seen them in almost 2 years! Where does the time go?? I will be taking lots of pics :)

My green thumb...

Well, my thumb is not very green even in the most figurative sense! Although, once a year I get the itch to do something to make our landscaping just a bit prettier than what it already is. It usually happens when the weather is not too warm. And last week I got that itch! I planted a few flowers in our forest area in the back yard. I also transplanted some tulips that were growing under my hubby's ladders. I have been asking him to move his ladder pile for me to this this since last year and even though he did not move the pile, it was moved just enough for me to lean over and dig a few up. I figure that it's worth the chance of them dying since I can't enjoy them under his pile of ladders! Also, I bought a cute bird house that I stuck in there and a metal cat that bounces, so it's looking cute already, it just needs a little bit of color! Oh, I did buy 2 hanging baskets that are so low to the ground I can't really call them hanging, but they are out there too. I will not hold my breath (because I may die) for my flowers to bloom, but I am keeping my fingers crossed ;)

Corey's dad came over for Father's day and as usual it was a beautiful day! Here is Cassidy with her Gramps.

If you suddenly stop hearing from me...

that means I did not survive the summer with all 4 kids at home!

Caytlynn got off the bus at 11:45 yesterday and with in the first hour of her summer vacation there were several time outs and at one point all 4 kids were crying!! Luckily things turned around!

On the very bright side, Caytlynn received a fabulous report from her teacher! She will be entering first grade next year, and right now she is at a begining second grade reading level! She got the award for most improved :) It seems as though every time her teacher sent a note or I talked to her she was amazed at Caytlynn's progress! I am so pround of her!!! We will be working hard this summer to excel her reading and writing skills. The best part about this is that she LOVES to read and write! In the past 24 hours she has written in her journal several times and has read at least 10 books! This is a pic from her graduation.

Anyone live in Southern WI or Northern IL??? I will be having a 12 hour crop in Mukwonago Wi on August 23. Let me know if you want the deets!

Other Random things going on in my life...

Caytlynn and Cassidy had their dance recital a few weeks ago. Can you tell how much they love each other by the way they are in this pic? I wish they would act like this all of the time - haha!!!

Caytlynn will graduate from Kindergarten on Friday - YEA! I am so proud of her! She had early release today and read most of the afternoon. She reads ALL the time! Even when she was outside yesterday, she was reading most of the time. She loves to read!
Cullen turned 2 in April and has offically hit the terrible twos just recently. Any suggestions on dealing with the tantrums is greatly appreciated!!! ;) Most of the time he is sweetest little guy, but watch out if he doesn't get his way!
Cali Bear just turned 7 months and is cute as ever! She really knows how to get around without even crawling. She will be crawling very soon!

Last, but not least, here is one of my recent LOs... I used Glimmer Mist to "paint" the paintables!

So sad that my little getaway is over. I left Friday to go to CKU and came home Saturday night. It went too fast! I helped Michelle teach her hanging frame class which was so much fun! I helped out with 6 of her classes, we made 4 examples Friday night in 90 minutes, we had a few beers, made a lot of friends and had a blast! It was so hard leaving and knowing that it won't be until summer CHA that I see Michelle again. Although, I'm sure that every day until CHA we will talk on the phone at least once a day and sometimes more - lol! On the bright side, I did meet a few people that would like me to teach either at their store or at a retreat - yea! By far, the coolest chick I met there was one of the TAs for Saturday - Marilynn (sorry if I spelled this wrong!).

ok, I almost forgot I have been tagged! i need to describe myself with the letters of my middle name... here we go!

Really???? It's gone? I know I posted my Build-a-book here a few weeks ago and now my post is gone! humph!

Other stuff: The other day I got food poisoning - not fun (or pretty)! 4 hours of wasted time spent in the bathroom floor, mostly napping. I lost 10 pounds, but put it all back on when I drank water to rehydrate. It was nice feeling halfway skinny again - lol. the hubby got snipped yesterday - yes, we are SO done having kids!!! 4 is plenty ;) And after the day I had today, it seems like too many - haha! My Grandma turned 97 today!!! Her party is tomorrow, which I will be taking the 4 kids to all by myself *eeek*! That will be interesting! My mom, the kids and I went to the dells a few weeks ago, that was FUN!!! Looking forward to doing that again soon! The kids loved the water slides! Even Cali liked being in the water. I'll be Michelle's Teacher's Asst next weekend at CKU in Chicago. I'm actually staying overnight *shock*. We should be trouble, uh, I mean, it should be fun :) I guess that's all for now. I just got an e-mail from someone telling me some very exciting news! I can't tell anyone, yet. What do I do? I guess you all have to wait until tomorrow afternoon! Then I can spill. Do you think I am actually going to be able to sleep tonight? Nope. What's a girl to do? maybe a beer will help! Maybe posting some LOs will help... I used the Flavorful kit to make these. I really loved working with this kit. all the colors are beautiful!!!!

I certainly don't! I feel as though I don't even sit anymore unless it's to feed the baby! I do have to say that I love my little baby girl! We, meaning the 3 older kids and I, gave Cali a bath today! Caytlynn was the photographer, Cass was the big helper and Cullen was the biggest helper (in not letting me do my job - lol!) it all boiled down to a great time and fun for all the kiddos. I wanted to get a pic of all of their feet, but it just ended up being a laugh fest with all the kiddos stomping their feet on the floor:

And here is my baby girl, she is perfect! Look at that hair, what a DIVA! Most people pay big bucks for fabulous hair like that and here she is, only 9 days old and she doesn't even TRY to have good hair, it's just naturally perfect! She is so model-esque in this photo, I love it! This photo is much better than some of those ANTM pictures. I'm telling you all right now, she is going to grow up and be a model with fabulous hair! And did you check out those legs in the last photo??? That really just seals the deal!

I'm so excited about this!!!!! I have 2 LOs in here. I try to forget about publications until I actually GET the publication, but I happened to see this on-line and hyped myself up about it and can't wait to get it!!!

7 days until my due date - yipee!!! Hopefully it'll be sooner! Although, every night I think to myself "well, at least I can get this and that done before I have this baby!" - lol. Seriously, I have been so busy!!! The UPS and Fedex guy are now my friends!

I have been tagged by 3 of my peeps! I will get to it, I promise, but probably not before the baby is here - sorry!!! Yikes, I haven't had any time to visit those blogs either!!! Too bad they didn't have internet access at the hospital... or do they??? hmmmm, looks like I'll be checking into that tomorrow! I could get caught up on so much stuff!

Well, I have been to 2 crops in the past 2 weeks. which is more than I've been to in the past 30-some years of my life ;) I can't wait to share what I did with the November kit, which BTW, is a MUST have kit!!!

The girls tri-bunk bed should be here this week! Yea! They are so excited! Here's a pic, just imagine pink walls, princess comforters and barbie and tinkerbell sheets! - lol
Corey just painted the room a really pretty pink. I have been waiting for the beds to decorate the walls with flowers, butterflies and flourishes! I may even use some of the huge prima say it in crystals swirls... just hoping it won't look stupid and then i ruined the paint job and the swirls!

Yes, 2200 pounds of Urban Lily secret Keepers and board books invaded my home yesterday! One by one I brought a box to the door where my mom helped and stacked them in the appropriate spot. My mom, what an angel! One more shipment of journals, I wonder how much those bad boys are going to weigh???? Any estimates?

We have chosen Cali Kenzi for our daughter's name. 6 weeks and 2 days until the due date! I can't wait to meet her :) oooooooh, I can't wait until she's out of my belly too!!!

Party Time!

Caytlynn turned 5 last week and I decided to let her have 4 friends over for a party. All went well! I had all the girls dress up in a princess outfit, I sprinkled fairy dust over their heads and asked them to make a wish, we played pin the lips on the frog, ate pizza(you know princess do eat pizza!) and made some paper purses and decorated with paper flowers. Here's Caytlynn, she had such a blast! A "as good as it's going to get" pic of all the girlies!! Cass was the hardest to get still!

Caytlynn had 2 days of school this week. When I asked what happened she said "we went out for recess!" and I said "what else?" she said "i forgot" nothing has changed from K4!!! Although, her and Cassidy sure do make up for lost time when she gets home... constant bickering, fights, toy stealing! Before they could spread all that love throughout the day, now they only have a few hours to do it and it drives me bonkers!!

2500 Pounds!!!

Yep, 2500 pounds of Urban Lily paper invaded my house on Thursday! The only day I teach kickbox! So, I had double the workout!!! Totally worth it, did you see the papers??? WOW!

Well, tomorrow Caytlynn kinda starts school. We have orientation tomorrow morning, so it's not a full day. Her first official full day is Thursday. It should be interesting! I'm looking forward to a little less chaos here. Although it will be sad not having her around :(

8 weeks left! lil baby Teichmiller will hopefully be here within 8 weeks! These last 8 weeks are always the worst - blech!!! Luckily the hot, hot sticky days should be over with, at least for the most part!

Here's a LO I did using Kelly's French Kiss kit! I also used the add-on and cardstock add-on ! There are a few kits left at Scrap-Tastic! Also, only a few paintables left as well!!!

Well, sorta! I've been so tired lately, my head is spinning! It doesn't help that Caytlynn wakes me up at 5am almost every morning for something! I just can't go back to sleep right away either - GRRRRR!

BTW, I'm PINK!!! Yeppers, it's a girl! I just noticed that I haven't updated my blog since I found out. There's no name that we can agree on yet, she may not have a name right away *shock*!!

CHA was fabulous!!! That's a whole nother entry! Products have been invading the house and I love it! Now, I just need more time to scrap!

Urban Lily will be taking over my house, litterally!!!! The stamps are here and most of the other products will be here this week. We're talking over 200 boxes of just paper!!! Wowie! I was lucky enough to score some paper from Renata at CHA and here's a LO I did with it :)

Robyn's kit, "Urban Passion" is phenomenal! I love it!! Here it is and a LO I did with it :)

Here is the September kit "French Kiss" designed by Kelly! Another awesome kit! I started a mini book with this one and will post later.

We find out if I'm blue or pink! So, them we know if we can use Cain for the new baby OR fight over a girl's name! I know it's totally out there, but I love the name Cain Blaze. How cool would that kid be? Just as cool as Cullen Cole, I would imagine ;) lol

Now, I'm 22 weeks along! If the Dr. gave me an exact time, I would count down the seconds! I'm trying so hard to be patient, but the weather is getting warmer and I'm getting bigger *shock* I'll see how much bigger tomorrow :) Today it was 90 some degrees - yuck! I left in the morning to workout and stayed in the air conditioning for the rest of the day!

If you didn't notice, I added a header to my blog AND changed my title. Maybe I will blog more often now that i am happier with it? I guess we'll see!

Ok, here is the mess that I mentioned in my last post. This first picture is "the disaster" and the next picture is what it should look like. Not many people know, actually, I don't think anyone knows this... I am so anal about my kids clothes and closet! I have a
hard time keeping up with the dishes and keeping the house clean... heck, I am so disorganized that it is riduculous!!!!! BUT, there are a few things that I am completely anal about... first is my business, which I really HAVE to be organized about... and clothes for the kids. The clothes have to be stain and wrinkle free for my kids to wear them. I may keep a few old tattered and stained items for painting and playing, but for the most part, I always have to have them looking good. Most of the time they are dressed better than me! Oh, who am I kiding... they always look better than me!!! So, I hang 95% of their clothes and it's all organized by warmer stuff (just a few warm outfits for cold summer nights), dress up clothes, pants, shirts, outfits and good dresses. So now you know why I was so upset about this closet ordeal... still kinda sour about it!

My Great Aunt Catherine passed away today. She was always a little pistol! So, if you can imagine, someone close always dies when I'm pregnant. I didn't want to say it to anyone, but I knew it would happen. Hope there's not 2 funerals with this one!

On a much different note, Scrap-Tastic started selling kits!!! The DT Girlies are the designers and these kits are hot! This first kit was designed by Barb I can't stop playing with this first kit! My 2 girlies have managed to make me cry first thing this morning. Let's start from the begining... I was so happy to sleep in! I actually woke up to my alarm clock - *shock*! Went to the girls bedroom and found over half of their clothes were in piles out of their closets! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today was going to be folding the girls clothes day. since it's so time consuming I spend a GOOD portion of the day organizing and hanging clothes. Well, now I am not motivated to do any laundry. none. zip. zilch! and everytime i think about it I feel ill and my heart starts going a little faster. what to do? i dunno! I don't even know what to do with them, they have been so naughty lately. grrrr. definately a sb page in the works, but i'd rather work on something else. Thanks for letting me vent :) :) :)
So, I decided to submit to pencil lines for their DT call and this is what I sent. since I have so much extra time on my hands ;) haha!!! Check out their blog, it rocks!

Nothing too exciting going on here. I've been subbing alot at the gym. I taught and took 7 classes this week. I'm really trying to hit it hard and stay in some type of shape while I'm preggo. my belly is getting big but my legs are toning up and i feel good! 11 more days and I will find out what we are having - yea!!!!! also, I hit the halfway mark on Monday! 20 weeks to go :) I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

uh, almost! At least I didn't forget anything! Uncle Terry, Aunt Jenny and Jess didn't make it in time - bummer! They missed her dance by about 5 minutes, stupid Sunday drivers! GRRRR! I'm preggers!!!! Again! Today Cullen is 1 and I'm 13 weeks along - eeek! This will be #4 and the baby is due on 10/10. Cullen and the new baby will be the closest - 18 months apart.

Right now I am loving every job that I currently do... mom, store owner and aerobics instructor. But, I've decided to take on another... another job where I will be working with product that I am truely passionate about. I am the new US distributor for Urban Lily. Yes, THE Urban Lily!!!! Could I love product any more than theirs??? nope. So, I will be getting my first shipment in 3-4 weeks! So, if you don't see me for a while... you know why! This is their new product that I will be working with. I also have it in my store on pre-order! Besides the new Urban Lily coming Scrap-Tastic, I have been busy ordering from other great companies... Basic Grey, American Crafts, Prima, Queen & Co, and Autumn Leaves to name a few. I'm so excited to kick off the new year with all of this fun schtuff :)

Corey got a PS3, so he is as happy as a pig in mud.... lots of mud!

i even had a blog! i've been so super CRAZY around here! I'm Finally working again :) :) :) and hoping to get rid of my baby fat that's been adding up little by little after every kiddo ;) I'm just starting with 1 class and next month i should have 3 classes a week. I do have to admit that i am so out of shpae it's riduclious and the class i started to teach is a full hour of punching and kicking the bag... what did i get myself into???? Well, each class i take or teach, it gets a little easier.

I've been a scrappin' fool, trying to scrap for me and 2 other people as much as possible!!!

PLUS, i've been keeping busy with my website. I just got a TON of product in yesterday and lots more expected to come in really soon :)
